Replatforming of the real-time core system was the biggest challenge by its nature of being a core and legacy system that had been developed over the years. The Client faced typical problems like lack of documentation, lack of process & data lineage, architecture, etc., which led to total incapability of delivering on target, on time, and on budget. Despite engagement with TOP5 consultants, delivery of the initiative was delayed for over 2 years, and the budget multiplied several times.
